Driving Leadership Development Through Inclusion

With our goal of changing how the world works we know we need more than fans we need experts. So we created an affiliate program so companies and individuals can become certified on our Core Compass Programs and have access and legal use of our patent published system. Each person who goes through our program is vetted for passion, talent and commitment to equity, inclusion and diversity. We accept about a third of those that apply. After this they are personally trained by the founders and select staff going through a rigorous 6-8 week training program for each Core program.

We have no desire to have thousands of affiliates we want a few handfuls of dedicated experts to ensure the integrity and quality of our patented system is honored, ensuring exactness of quality to all who participate in our sessions. Below are two featured affiliates you would be well served to engage with.

Garret Harrell

Garret Harrell is the President and Principal Consultant of Southern Cross Leadership Solutions where he helps organizations develop high-performance work teams. A retired United States Marine, he developed his expertise in high-performance teams after serving 14 of his 21 years in special operations assignments and varying levels of team leadership positions. As a certified affiliate of The Submarine Way, Garret’s team development model follows their patented, published, and practiced approach which is strengths based, inclusion focused, and mission oriented. In addition to his real-world experience, Garret has made it his journey in life to study leadership and high-performance teams. He holds a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership from the University of Charleston and an Executive Certificate in Leadership from the University of Notre Dame. Garret also holds the highly respected certification of Resilience-Building Leadership Professional – Trainer (RBLP-T™) and is a Gallup Successful Strengths coach. Julie Harrison, ACC

Julie’s unique background includes serving in the U.S. Army as a military intelligence officer and over two decades of corporate leadership experience, including serving as Vice President of Human Resources at Comcast.  Julie’s experience also includes leadership roles at Michelin Tire, Kelly Services Automotive and the City of Chicago. 

 Julie is the President and Founder of Julie Harrison Consulting LLC, an HR Consulting firm focused on leadership coaching, employee engagement strategies and change management planning.  Julie is a Prosci certified change management practitioner and instructor, an executive coach, and a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).  She is an Affiliate of The Submarine Way and believes that having an inclusive mindset will set leaders apart from others and drive better business outcomes.

 Julie lives in the Charleston, SC area with her husband David and enjoys being a “foodie”, spending time at the beach, kayaking, running, and practicing yoga.
